Our Deutz engine series diesel generator sets excel in performance and maintenance ease, tailored to enhance user convenience. They feature standardized parts that are interchangeable across different units and a highly integrated system facilitating cohesive and efficient operation. A variety of configuration options are available to meet specific customer needs. Below are the specifications for our 70-105KW Deutz engine series diesel generator sets.
Automatic controller, integrating digital, intelligent and network techniques, is used for automatic control and monitoring system of genset. It can carry out functions of automatic start/stop, data measurement, alarm protection and three remote (remote control, remote measure and remote communication).
Optional language interface: English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Polish and French with easy and reliable operation.
Control and Protection of the Generator Set Includes: High water temperature, low oil pressure, over and under speed, over current, under/over generator voltage, start and stop failure, low and high battery voltage, charge fail, emergency stop.
When the diesel engine temperature is too high, is it advisable to add cooling water immediately?
No, it is crucial to allow the engine to cool naturally to ambient temperature before adding cooling water. Adding cold water to an overheated engine can cause thermal shock, leading to cracks in the cylinder head, cylinder liner, and cylinder block, resulting in severe engine damage.
What should I do if the diesel generator set experiences poor cylinder sealing and struggles to start?
In cold weather, the poor sealing of the piston ring and cylinder wall may prevent proper engine start-up due to insufficient oil. This is especially true in winter when oil in the piston ring and cylinder wall is minimal. If the cylinder is heavily worn, it can also worsen sealing performance and make starting even more difficult. In this case, removing the injector and adding 30 to 40 ml of oil to each cylinder can help improve the sealing performance and compression pressure, making it easier to start the engine.
Can I run my diesel generator on biodiesel or other alternative fuels?
Yes, diesel generators can run on almost any type of oil. They can operate on used motor oil, vegetable oil, refined biodiesel, or other oil-based substances. However, while the generator will run on these alternative oils, it is crucial to ensure that the oil is clean and properly processed to avoid damaging the engine, injectors, or filtration system. In an emergency, if these are the only available fuels, they can be used, but in normal circumstances, choose your diesel fuel alternatives carefully.
